Concordis Quartet was created in 2005 and has, in its current constitution, Eudoro Grade, João Nunes, Jorge Pires and Pedro Rufino. From the complicity between these musicians and from their personalities and varied influences, the timbre and sound beauty emerges as a tonic that the four guitars provide together. The musical orientation of this quartet is characterized by highlighting the originality and diversity that the vast repertoire allows, such as the dissemination of works exclusively adapted. An example of this is the work of the composer Pedro Louzeiro on several pieces by Carlos Paredes and Zeca Afonso, which will integrate the first CD of the Concordis Quartet, which is in preparation and will be launched soon. The Concordis Quartet has maintained an intense concert activity in Portugal and abroad. It has performed mainly in festivals, such as: "Festival Guitares en Picardie" and "Festival de Guitare de Vendome" (France); "Festival MED" (Loulé - Portugal); festival "Onde Sonore" and "Ossola Guitar Festival" (Italy); "International Festival of Guitar of Palencia" and "International Festival of Guitar of Ronda" (Spain).
